This project involved the refurbishment of the existing warehouse/industrial building on Oval Way in Vauxhall , London and the addition of over 17,000 sq.ft of new space over 3 storeys.
Our client is the Ethical Property Company who specialise in the provision of managed office space for charities, voluntary groups and organisations for social change throughout the UK and Europe.
The project involved extensive refurbishment of the existing building with the installation of new lifts and services throughout and the fit out of over 53,000 sq.ft of floor area into serviced office space.
The new build element of the works involved the extensive use of exposed concrete structure which acts as a heat sink for the building.
The Building has achieved a BREEAM "Excellent" rating.
The project was awarded 'International Project of the Year' at the Irish Construction Industry Awards 2016.
