This project threw up significant challenges in terms of logistics management on a tight city centre site requiring careful pre-planning and traffic management.
Riverside IV is a mixed use development consisting of 30,000m2 of office accommodation. The works comprises of the construction of three multistorey office buildings; Block A extends over 7 levels. Block B extends over 6 levels and Block C which extends over 8 levels.
The project also included the excavation and disposal of contaminated soil. The basement is generally a concrete structure secant with reinforced piling to the external perimeter and has a proprietary membrane system to provideClass 3 Accommodation at the basement level. The unitised curtain walling system offered great advantages to both the client and contractor in terms of increased speed of installation and superior build quality. Internally the offices are fitted out to a very high specification including ceilings, raised access floors, proprietor glass partition, hardwood timber doors and frames, stainless steel and glass balustrades and high quality sanitaryfittings withglass toilet cubicles This project threw up significant challenges in terms of logistics management on a tight city centre site requiring careful preplanning and traffic management.
