Ebay, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15

This project involved the fitting out of a new 60,000ft2 European Headquarters for E-Bay. The fit our included ceilings, partitions, raised access floors, security installation, full M&E our of air-conditioned offices, floor finishes and furniture, as well as all external hard and soft landscaping and utility hook-ups.

The project was won through traditional competitive tender in August 2003, commenced in September 2003 and was completed ahead of time and on budget in February 2004.

The demanding programme for the projects was achieved through focused project management of the sub-contract packages by Bennett, combined with detailed forward planning of resources and activities.

Detailed forward planning involved daily meetings of sub-contractors in  order to take immediate action on any slippage to the programme.

The daily meeting also ensured a focused approach to safety management on site.

The number of personnel on site averaged 130 per day for the 4 month programme.
