The work involved the full fit out of 1 floor and the central atrium of Guild House. The fit out had to be carried out to the strict corporate standards set by this worldwide client and the floor area was split into 40% enclosed and 60% open plan space.
FBD uses the building as their Irish commercial centre and the comms rooms and data centre had to be completed to the highest international standards.
During the fit our FBD were developing their user requirements, this meant that the brief was very dynamic.
Bennett at all stages responded to the client requests as the project proceeded and produced the full fit out on time and to the client satisfaction
The client had an approved list of material suppliers for products such as floor finishes, furniture and communication infrastructure. All of these became sub contractors of Bennett and were managed and coordinated by Bennett management in conjunction with the client representatives.
The programme n the contract was 14 weeks which meant that the works had to be carried out to a very demanding programme, to ensure that the required level of production was met. A dedicated team of 9 staff managed the project on a shift basis.
All of the specialist partition system used had to be acoustically sealed to the structure, this meant careful coordination with the services and the placement of fire activated acoustic vents in the ceiling space which was there turn air plenum.
All of these client requests and tenant requirements were successfully managed by Bennett to ensure the 14 week programme was comfortably achieved.
