Bennett (Construction) Ltd were appointed the Design & Build contractor on this project.
The project involved the phased refurbishment and fitout of Primark's premises in Chapel House, Dublin.
The project was completed over 3 phases, the 4th and 3rd floor of Chapel House were completed, followed by the 1st and 2nd floor which included the main reception and courtyard. Phase 3 incorporated the refurbishment of the existing offices in the Mary Street section of the project.
The fitout had a distinctive rustic feel to it with elements such as scaffolding plank ceiling rafts, salvaged flooring boards, concrete and copper details and exposed metal deck ceiling soffits.
Some of the key features included the 285 seat Auditorium, the new boardroom, extensive quality control and sample rooms, numerous meeting and ranging rooms along with a significant open plan office fitout.
The new offices cater for around 600 staff members. The open-plan office space features over 40 meeting rooms, a café as well as other eating facilities, and an employee gym.
