The project involved the design and construction of a high bay warehouse and offices.
The project involved the design and construction of a high bay warehouse and offices. The building is designed to meet the performance requirements of a warehouse that can accommodate the largest and heaviest loads in appropriate environmental conditions. The space requirement was achieved through the use of a structural steel portal frame on precast fabricated foundations that gave a clear working height to the valley beam of 12.2m, with equal portal spans and equal bay spacing. The environmental requirements were achieved through use of steel composite cladding panels for insulation and mechanical ventilators give heating and cooling.
