This week we celebrated International Women’s Day with the theme being Embrace Equality.  Bennett were proud to be Gold Sponsors of the CIF International Women’s Day Summit which took place in Dunboyne Castle.

The event was attended by over 300 people and many more watched online.   The event consisted of a number of key note speakers and various panels discussing topics such as Female leadership, Sustainable Business and Sustainable Workforce.  Our own Quality & Environmental Manager, Ana Paula Paes Landim was a panellist on the day, and we were delighted to be there to support her.   The event was fantastic with many inspirational speakers. Well done to all!

We are very proud of the amazing women working in Bennett, and their stories help inspire others and provide mentorship to women in the industry and women considering a career in construction.  So with that in mind, we asked some of these women about their careers, and what advice they would have for any women or girls thinking about a career in construction.
