The site was formerly used as a military barracks and council waste depot and thereof the Millbrook Park site was used as Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Workshop which was later converted to a Vehicle Maintenance Depot.

The works involved the provision of 257 fully fitted and serviced residential units, including 17 two bed duplex apartments and 240 apartments ranging from 1-3 bedrooms in 2 blocks , each with a podium, ground floor commercial units, ground floor retail units plus under croft parking and all associated external works.
