This scheme comprises of a family of buildings which appear as five blocks ranging from 6 to 13 storeys.

Developed in collaboration with residents and businesses the buildings house 197 apartments alongside a mix of industrial units and retail spaces to accommodate a diverse range of uses to help establish a new and vibrant community. The project was part of the first phase of the borough’s Leyton Vision masterplan which will see the redevelopment of the area west of Leyton Orient’s football stadium.

The varying heights of the blocks helps to define their individual form and maximises the light, air and views available to each of the apartments. Spaces between the blocks reduces the impact of the building at street level and subtle variations in architectural language, materiality and tonality between the blocks enable them to be read as a family of objects, in conversation.
