Buckle Street, Aldgate, London
The project is located in the heart of London (21 Buckle Street, London E1 8NN), located on the fringes of the cities square mile.
The site is wedged between a number of live developments with residential developments on two sides whilst backing onto a listed German Church to the rear.
The works involved the demolition of an existing five storey office building occupying the whole site and the construction of a new 13 storey tower, housing an 103 key hotel with two floors of co-working space including a reception and bar area on the ground floor.
A key element is the striking facade, it really stands out with its sharp vertical cladding lines & curved corner elements of glazing against the textured brickwork.
